It is February and we still have lots of lucerne trees in stock. They have grown in their bags well past 40cm tall, some nearing 1m tall, and they need to get out into the land within the next few weeks.
These trees will quickly become established and should be well on their way before the colder winter weather comes from end of May onwards.
Please pop over to our Orders page to order yours now. We can courier them to your door all across South Africa.
We are only able to post you lucerne tree seeds, not trees, due to strict biosecurity regulations at border controls. We use registered mail with a tracking number to ship international seed orders. Registered mail is not delivered to a street address, but clients will be notified, and they will need to sign for and collect their mail at their local post office. Please fill in the contact form on our Orders page and we will email you all the details.

Hello @David Trollip, Our trees are couriered with all their soil in their original 1-litre potting bags.
We found that clients did not have the hoped-for success transplanting tube-packed trees which is why we have discontinued this option. Lucerne trees hate to have their roots disturbed and do not do well when the soil is removed for bare-root courier purposes..
Hello @JP, we haven’t received your order. Could you please email us with your order information at lucerne.trees@gmail.com and I will email you an invoice with all the details. Thanks.

Good Morning Nadine Would the lucerne trees be able to be shipped without soil as fruit trees are?
Kind regards
